Paws & Pints is Hiring a Front Desk/Guest Services Near Des Moines, IA
What will your day look like?
- Greeting guests and their furry best friends with genuine hospitality when arriving at the facility. Direct each guest on where they are to go
- Providing an exceptional social experience
- Answering questions from guests about this new and exciting social adventure
- Completing cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules
- Listening to guest complaints and suggestions, then working to resolve or contacting a manger
- Settle guest’s tabs; run pos, handle currency, etc.
- Help keep the lobby clean and tidy at all times. Clean up sudden messes as they arise.
- Conduct temperament consultations with new dog park guests.
- Collect data from guests such as vaccination records. Update guest accounts and profiles.
- Get waivers signed by incoming dog park guests.
- Help open and close the facility; follow checklists.
- Be polite and personable with guests (humans & dogs).
- Know all services offered. Be knowledgeable on products and pricing and be able to suggest services when you recognize opportunity.
- Keep flow of traffic steady, if folks get backed up, let a manager know so they can step in and help.
- Assist and handle canine-related emergency and first-aid situations.
- Assist checking in folks for private events.

Qualifications
- Full time positions available
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
